A frequent FREE bus service will operate between Alton Railway Station and the rally site at Anstey Park from 09:40 to 17:10, connecting with trains from / to London Waterloo.


FREE feeder bus services will operate to Alton from Basingstoke, Fareham, Winchester, Guildford, Aldershot and Farnham.*

*Feeder services are subject to confirmation, timetables will be published on the website in June.

Alton is signposted off the A31 Guildford to Winchester road.

Once in Alton follow the yellow 'Bus Rally' signs to the rally site at Anstey Park.

FREE parking at Anstey Park for hundreds of cars, car park open 9am to 6pm.

Please note: A one-way system will operate within Anstey Park. Entry to Anstey Park will be from Anstey Lane only. Exit from Anstey Park will be to Anstey Road only. Speed limit in Anstey Park is 10 mph, this applies to all vehicles in all parts of Anstey Park and includes the tarmac surfaced roads within Anstey Park.




If you are travelling from Basingstoke (using the A339 heading South) or Odiham (using the B3349 heading South) to Alton then read on...


A major highway improvement scheme at The Butts in Alton will mean that Whitedown Lane is closed between junction with Chawton Park Road and junction with Butts Road / Selborne Road. This is where the French Horn pub and Butts (brick arch) railway bridge are located. There are signposted local diversion routes for Light Traffic. The HGV diversion is via M3, A331 and A31. If possible take an alternative route to Alton. For more information and details of the road closures and diversions please visit the roadworks website
